DATE PALMS

These palms are 35 feet tall and produce edible dates. It’s best to plant them in warm weather and backfill with pure sand.

The trick to getting them planted at the same heights is to put reference nails in the trunks when they’re lying down. When the crane lifts them, if you’ve dug your holes deep enough, you can adjust the height of each palm with sand and they’ll all line up.
